Are DSC an estate agent?

No. Estate agents work to achieve the highest price for the seller. DSC work for the buyer and focuses on finding the right property for the lowest possible price.

Do DSC only look for property in the London area?

DSC look for property in the Central London area.

Will DSC look for property at any price?

DSC look for property from £300,000 upwards.

How long is DSC’s initial search?

DSC’s initial search is for 8 weeks. At the end of this initial search DSC hope to have put together a short-list of properties that match the initial search criteria.

Do you find property abroad?

Not currently.

Can you advise a foreign client on areas to live in London?

Yes. DSC will take all the client’s requirements into account and provide an unbiased view.

DSC’s sales search rates. What are they?

On exchange of sale, DSC’s fee will be a percentage of the final purchase price, subject to VAT.

DSC’s rental search rates. What are they?

DSC charge three months’ rent once your contract has been signed.

Will DSC handle all negotiations?

Experienced in negotiating prices for both rental and sales, DSC will act in the client’s best interests making sure the price paid is the lowest possible. Any fees incurred during the acquisition e.g. surveyor or solicitor will be payable directly by the client.

What happens if a client decides to withdraw their offer from a property?

DSC reserve the right to charge an abort fee. This will be levied at the rate of the original retainer and will be subject to VAT.
